Basic Settings
Controls very basic but extremely important information about your hotel and it should be one of the first pages you should visit and to all required information.
Basic Settings is divided into different settings tabs, we are going to take a look at each one.
Information
- Hotel Name, insert your hotel name or brand
- Hotel Timezone, select from the drop-down the time zone your hotel is located at
- Hotel Logo, upload your hotel logo, 64 pixels height works best for the majority of Hoteloni website themes, it's also displayed in invoices. The uploaded file ends up in your media / images folder
- Hotel Email, insert your main hotel email
- Hotel Phone, insert your hotel phone number
- Hotel Mobile Phone, insert your hotel mobile phone number
- Hotel Fax, insert your hotel fax number
- Hotel Address 1, insert your hotel adrress line 1
- Hotel Address 2, insert your hotel address line 2
- Hotel Postal Code, insert your hotel postal code number
- Hotel City, insert your hotel city name
- Hotel State, insert your hotel state name
- Hotel Country, insert your hotel country name
Modules
One of the great advantages of Hoteloni is the fact that it uses a modular framework. All features can be easily turned on or off at a flick of a button keeping your management light, fast and easy. You only need to have active the modules you need, in this page you can control the modules in 2 ways.
- Deactivate Modules -> Just Me. Removes the module just from just from your administration panel view. Other users will be able to view and use the module
- Deactivate Modules -> All Users. Disables the module altogether and removes it from all users administration panel views.

Users
This is the main place to manage all your hotel users or staff members alongside with their departments. This page displays a table with all users and you can filter, order and change the default number of entries.
- First Name, user first name
- Last Name, user last name
- Username, user username
- User Level, user rights level that grants or blocks access to Hoteloni features
- User Group, user group or department
- User Site, user attached location. Hoteloni Multi Sites allows you to manage several hotels, in these cases the user may be attached to more than one hotel
- Email, the user email
- Options
- Edit User
- Delete User
Add User button
- First Name, insert the user first name
- Last Name, insert the user last name
- Username, insert unique username
- User Level, select the user level
- Lv1 Administrator
- Lv2 High Management
- Lv3 Management
- Lv4 High Frontdesk
- Lv5 Frontdesk
- Lv6 Staff
- Select User Site, select the user attached location. One, multiple choices or all sites / locations
- Select User Group or department, lists all already created departments. At the end of the list you will find Add New User Group or Department -> that controls this text field and allows you to insert, or create departments. User Groups or Department names need to be unique.
- User Email, insert an unique user email
- User password, insert a minimum 8 characters user password. You can click Generate Password to speed up the process
These basic settings control how your hotel emails are sent to your staff or to hotel customers upon completed bookings or reservations. It's an email server setup.
- From Email, the server originating email address example, no-reply@yourdoamin.com or info@yourdomain.com
- From Name, the server originating email name, usually a short name like your hotel name example, Hoteloni
- Email Engine, select
- SMTP, to sent professional emails that usually do not get marked as spam
- phpMailler, to sent no so professional emails that usually do get marked as spam

- SMTP Username, your authenticating smtp username, usually the email you used in From Email... example, no-reply@yourdoamin.com or info@yourdomain.com

After saving the above fields you can test the setup by clicking TEST SMTP button.
Security
Hoteloni security is based on real time blocklist scans provided by the award winning Spam Master. These real time scans include page hits, logins, registrations, sales fraud detection, etc. They work together with a spam buffer and a firewall to provide your hotel maximum protection levels.

Logs
We are a bunch of linux geeks! over-obsessive and compulsive about logging. That suits our Hoteloni customers since they will have a full overview about what's going on with their hotel. Everything is logged from system messages, settings changes and deletions, bookings and reservations, cron runs, security heartbeats, job insertions and status changes, you name it... it's logged.
Ate the top of the page there's a field to insert the Auto delete entries after number of days. The auto deletion keeps your logging fast and easy to view and manage.
Last Logs
Table that displays your logs chronologically organized, you can filter, order and change the default number of entries.
- Date, the date the event and consequent log occurred
- Log Type, the type of logging example, system or bookings or payment. Useful to sort the table
- Message, the log message... who what where
- Options
- Delete the single log row
Pressing Delete All Logs found at the top of the table will delete everything up to that moment and... will log that deletion .
